Meet the friendly Creative Pools and Landscaping experts, who are here to help with all of your landscaping and pool needs.

Steve Emery

Director

As the founding owner of the former Riverland Creative Gardens, Steve has been at the helm since day 1, growing the business into what it is today.

With the multi-department company it is today, Steve’s time is spent between pool servicing, landscape design and those fun admin jobs.

When he’s not at work, Steve likes being a kid again with the grandies.

Andrew Tullett

Director

Andrew AKA Tully joined the team after throwing in the pan and moving on from his chef career.

Tully wears many hats for CPL, covering landscape construction manager, maintenance manager, pool service technician and garden maintenance manager.

When he’s not at work, you can catch Tully spending time with the family and working on his home.

Ben Miller

Director

Ben is the youngest of the team of directors, who began his career with Riverland Creative Gardens (now Creative Pools and Landscaping) as trainee straight out of school.

His role within the company as construction manager sees him organising the crews, ordering materials and project managing most of our commercial projects.

Away from work, Ben can be found at various sporting clubs, being a taxi for his 3 kids, or completing his own landscaping at home.

Michael Scott

Site Supervisor

Michael came to us shortly after completing his carpentry apprenticeship and has proved to be great addition to our work crew.

Michael has since completed his Cert III in Landscape Construction and now operates as one of our Construction Site Supervisors.

When he’s not at work, Michael splits his spare time between renovating his home and spending time with his young family.

Josh Howard

Site Supervisor

Since working with us, Josh has completed his Cert III in Landscape Construction and progressed to a Site Supervisor role.

Outside of work, Josh spends his time with his young family and kicking butts as an F45 trainer.

Nimi Bille

Site Supervisor

Nimi came to us with his previous profession in architecture from his home country of Nigeria. With this he brings a high level of attention to detail.

Currently, Nimi is on the home stretch of completing his landscape construction traineeship and has recently moved into the role of site supervisor.

Away from Creative Pools and Landscaping, Nimi enjoys spending time with his family, working on his home and ripping up the soccer pitch.

Zach Nitschke

Construction

Zach started with us as a school-based trainee in landscape construction, before joining us full time to complete his traineeship.

When Zach isn’t at work, he’s a gun at most things…(his words, not ours).

Kane Gray

Construction

Kane joins us with a background in landscaping and is currently completing his Cert III in Landscape Construction.

When he’s not working, Kane can be found camping or playing footy.

Luke Haegan

Construction

Luke joined the team after experience in civil construction.

In his spare time, Luke can be found completing his house renovations, on road trips (pre-COVID) and adding to his tattoo collection.

Jake Tappper

Construction

Jake is another recent addition to the construction team, currently working through his landscape construction traineeship.

Outside of work, you will catch him either watching or playing sports.

Kaine Petch

Construction

Kaine has returned to the crew after previously working with us on a casual basis.

Away from work, Kaine enjoys playing and watching sport.

Kane Thiele

Pool Service Technician

Kane brings years of experience with him from his building background and time spent as a pool installer.

He now spends his days either in the pool van or pool shop as a pool service technician keeping your pool operations under control.

In his downtime, Kane enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying a cold beer.

Clint Thompson

Garden Maintenance

Clint is one of the latest additions to team, bringing 10 years of civil construction experience with him. He has been a great inclusion to our site preps team.

Moving forward, Clint will be running our growing garden maintenance division, catering for residential and commercial gardens.

On the weekends, you can find Clint and his family cruising somewhere up river.

John Nagel

Garden Maintenance

The old faithful work horse of the team, John brings the bad jokes and the loud voice to the team…mainly because he’s deaf.

For many a year, John has been maintaining government and residential properties for us.

Away from work, John enjoys his “tea and scones” (you need to be in the know to know exactly what that means).

Mark Holmes

Project Manager/Estimator

Mark brings his vast experience in the building industry to the Creative Pools and Landscaping team, having built or project managed many a property around the Riverland.

Away from work, Mark keeps working. Working on his car, boat, caravan…anything in his shed really. When he finds the time, he also loves travelling.
